→ Cardiac PET/CT Myocardial Perfusion Imaging

San Luis Obispo Heart is proud to be the sole provider of Cardiac PET/CT on the Central Coast. Supervised by board-certified Nuclear Cardiologist, Dr. Bandari, this state-of-the-art mobile lab provides unparalleled detection of obstructive coronary artery disease. Benefits of PET versus traditional nuclear stress testing include higher accuracy, significantly decreased radiation exposure (2.5 mSv vs 10 mSv), and much shorter test time (25 minutes vs > 3 hours). This service is available to the community at large on a referral basis.
